You can now find a number of interesting massage chair models in the midrange market. One in particular that you should check out is the HT 140 by Human Touch massage chairs. This is a contemporary looking recliner that is mounted on a swivel base.
The midrange massage chairs allow for the integration of many diverse features. However, unlike luxury massaging recliners, midrange models sometimes are not full body massage chairs. These are some of the trade-offs that you have to look at when shopping in the midrange massaging recliner market.
Shopping the midrange market for massage chairs can sometimes involve trade-offs of features. Some massaging recliners in this category may be full body where others may have less than full body capability. The recliner is not a full body massage chair in this sense, because it lacks any massage features in the seat area.
The futuristic design of the Human Touch recliner is impressive. It has a swivel base with partial wood inlay which match the wood armrests. This modern machine is powered by a remote control.
There are three automatic massage programs. These automatic programs work off the touch of a button. They are programmed for 15 minutes in duration and run the functions of the entire recliner.
This model of massage chair provides you with an adequate massage for a midrange model. This massaging recliner was not the strongest of the midrange that I tried. However, it also wasn’t the weakest in massage strength.
Human Touch has integrated a number of manual programs into this massaging recliner. You can select from rolling, kneading, compression and percussion. Some of these manual programs also have a variable speed to adjust the intensity to your liking.
You can recline this model all the way back to 170 degrees. This gives you a wide range of angles in which to receive your massage. The wood armrests slope back to guide your arms as to recline the chair back.
One really funky item with this model of massage chair is its calf massager. The calf massager is able to rotate. It has an oversize bracket on the side. The bracket allows the calf massager to rotate is rather large and detracts from the design in my opinion. Although, it is a nice feature to be able to hide the calf massager, it is at the expense of aesthetics.
One of the more notable features of this model by this company is a full body stretching. This is accomplished by holding the feet with the calf massager while reclining the chair backwards. As you recline backwards it stretches the body gently.
The Human Touch massage chair company has a very modern line. This is a nice approach from some of the mundane models on the market. The back massage in the HT-140 was about average and the chair is lacking any seat and thigh massage treatments. For the price, this midrange model does not have full body massage capability.
The HT 140 massage chair is one of many swivel base recliners offered by Human Touch. This particular model has wood armrests and partially matching swivel wood base. This is a nice contemporary design with some interesting features.
