Sometimes surgeons may reconstruct the jaws of the patient for the cure of this disorder of breathing during sleep. Through surgery sleep apnea cures by removing the excess tissues which are situated at the back of the throat and tonsils or adenoids. These methods involve various surgical instruments like a scalpel, microwaving instruments and laser.

Sometimes surgeons identify the various parts of the airways which are creating problems in breathing like soft palate, nose and tongue. The patients with sleep apnea have verified these surgical methods, which the surgeons have been using for a long time.

Keep in mind that there is a risk in a surgery for the patient of sleep apnea. Because the surgery may remove the basic reasons of sleep apnea but before it the curtail points must be in mind. During the surgery there is a possibility that sometimes surgery does not cure, and if the surgery is done again and again, it’s very harmful.

Different side effects may occur due to the surgical sleep apnea cures. This includes the severe pain and the swelling of the throat. Other treatments are available for the patients of sleep apnea if the surgery goes unsuccessful.
